Women—and men (since 1974)—who are citizens and at least 18 years old may join the League as voting members. Joining at any level of the organization automatically confers membership at every level, local, state and national. All members of local leagues within a state are also members of their state league and the national league. For example, Appleton League members are also members of the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin and the League of Women Voters of the United States.
Membership comes with the opportunity to work with league members to make an impact on local, state and national public policy issues.
